How To Keep Your Home Clean And Tidy
How To Keep Your Home Clean And TidyIt’s lovely coming home to a clean and tidy house, but with the pressures of everyday life it isn’t always easy to find the time to thoroughly and properly clean your home. If you want to get the clean home that you deserve, and be the envy of all of your friends, then here are some tips to help you keep your home clean and tidy! 1)    A deep cleanse. The best way to clean your home is to clean it thoroughly every so often and ensure that it’s tidy and sanitary the rest of the time. Set aside some time once a month to give your home the proper clean that it deserves. This will make the upkeep much easier, and you’ll find yourself with less clutter, less mess and less bacteria in the meantime! 2)    Downsizing. You probably have a lot of items in your home that you don’t use on a regular basis. If you do then it’s worth sorting through what you have and getting rid of anything that you don’t need. This will cut-down on the clutter in your home, giving the appearance of a tidier and better-organised house. Don’t just throw items away though! Things that are in good condition can be donated to charity, while some items might even be able to fetch you a bit of money if sold online. 3)    Storage.Lots of people struggle to keep their home clutter-free because they simply don’t have the necessary storage space. Have a look around your home and consider buying new furniture, under-the-bed storage boxes or even floating shelves to create a big more room for your items. If everything you own has a place to go then your home is definitely going to look less messy, so why not make the investment? 4)    Cleaning products. Are you using the right cleaning products to clean your home? Check your cleaning cupboard and stock-up on essential cleaning products like bleach and antibacterial sprays, but don’t forget glass cleaner, wood polish and anti-static sprays for dusty areas of your home. You should also check that your vacuum cleaner, mop and any cleaning brushes that you have are all in good condition. If you use sponges and cleaning cloths then make sure that they’re bleached regularly to prevent the spread of bacteria in your home. Get rid of any old sponges or cloths that might be making your home more dirty, and instead buy new cleaning essentials! 5)    Cleaning schedule.Make a weekly and a monthly cleaning schedule for your home and stick to them. Consider your work schedule, your family obligations and how much time you have for cleaning so you can always set realistic and achievable goals and so that your cleaning won’t get on top of you! Once this is done think about the jobs that need doing in your home most frequently, for example, if you have a cat that sheds fur then you might need to vacuum more regularly, or if you have a large family and only one bathroom, this is going to require cleaning more often! Thinking about these things will help you to create a schedule that works for your home, so consider your needs carefully. Set a schedule that the whole family can help with, and you’ll never struggle with your home cleaning again!
